Another church we passed by.

Later on, I decided to visit the Sacred Heart and Artist Square once again. This time in the day. Unfortunately, we no longer had the day pass and could not use the funiculaire for free. Therefore, we had to walk up the stairs to reach Sacred Heart!

It was well-worth it. The artist square was a lot more crowded than what I expected. It was nothing like the previous 2 times I went at night. The whole square was crowded with stalls.

Landscape artists are gathered in one section. Many of their pictures focus on places of interest in Paris, such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre-dame church, Arc de Triomphe and the Artist Square itself etc.

Cafes near the Artist Square. This particular cafe is always drawn into landscape paintings of the Artist Square itself since its right next to it.

Inside of the beautiful Sacred Heart.

It was a blessing in disguise that we didn't have the day passs today and had to walk up and down the hill. As we walked down this sloping pathway, instead of the stairs, we got to see lots of nice sights that we would have otherwise missed!

Beautiful sight of the Merry-go-round and the Sacred Heart. Lots of landscape artist like to draw in the Sacred Heart, along with this Merry-go-round and the sloping pathway we just came from.

We pass by a pastry shop and I am hungry because it is 6.30pm. I have a quesh for dinner. Zhiqiang has nothing. I think he's pretty much superman on tours. Hmm..

After Artist Square, we move on for some other sight-seeing in general.

Our next stop was the Paris Opera house.

Academic nationale de Musique. Basically, it's the Opera House in Paris. You can see some rather well-dressed people around here. There are lots of expensive shops in this area.

Soon, we made a stop at MacDonalds to use the toilets and discovered that Paris' Macs has ipod stations for you to enjoy some music while having your burgers and fries..

Then we take a photo of the Arc de Triomphe from the middle of the road, at the divider. Could feel the wind from the cars whizzing past every now and then. Bbrr..

It seems as if the cars travelling under the arc, but it is just an optical illusion. The cars are turning to the left or right just before the arc.
