a loss = a gain
A little sad that moving out means that you have truly stepped out of my life. But it also means that your somewat tormenting prescence around me will end. maybe then, I will truly move on. Because why shld I bother about someone who has deserted me, when I am surrounded by other friends who care.
Some day, some time, some moment ago in my life, I believed u to be the friend who truly understood me the most and mattered the most.
In this stage of my life, I believe that the love between friends is a lot more.. what's the word? precious? stable? than the love between a couple. It seems a bit weird... but just like... I can see myself caring for this friend till we are old, but I don't see the stability within me and a bf. rj called me cynical this morning.. but let me try explaining. Kind of like... in UNI.. we have friends of 6 - 10 years easily, but we are so easily impressed by couples who tell them they have been togeher for 5 years and above. even 3 years, people say wah.. not bad.. so long already. What?! why are we so impressed by relationships of 5 years and beyond, when we have friends who have been there for us for durations twice over. People seem to change bf more often than changing friends. So at the end of the day, it seems to me that friends go a loonger way than a love interest.
those who think i am sprouting nonsense, just take it that this single has to make some noise and has to settle for glorifying friends cos she has no one else.
