3 happy things his week..

This week...
I ATE A LOT. I'm growing rounder. wheeee.... I think I shud just stay in US where most people are even bigger sized than me. hahaaaaa.. cannot anyhow talk, later, singapore gov catch me out, us kick me out. I am on contract and in us under j1 visa...

anyway, monday was my colleague samuel's birthday and we planned a surprise for him! It was very last minute, cos I only found out on sunday night while on msn with him.

So monday morning, we devised a plan. Jerry got sam to go to the gym after work, while Minh and I sped off to the supermarket next door to grab some stuff. We got roast chicken, a family pizza and a cake! then we entered through the garage, cos I have their garage controller which I use to open their garage every morning when I pick them up. Saves me yelling or ramming on the garage door. So we sneaked in and had the pizza in the oven and laid the table for 4. then I put 25 candles on the cake and hid in the dark. Then when we heard them come into the house, we started lighting the candles. But the candles are awfully thin and there were so many, I ended up burning my fingers more than the candles. Flop lah!. while we were still lighting it behind the counter, samuel came into the kitchen and asked minh what she was doing hiding behind the counter. then heck! forget lighting them all.. Happy birthday!! lah lah.. sing song.. haha.. I think we flopped a little, but he was didn't expect the arrangement at all. he said this was the first time he celebrated his birthday, cos he doesn't celebrate birthdays one, so it made me very glad we did something for him.

then on tuesday, we found on wednesday was minh's birthday from another US colleague. Minh somehow told Rian when was her birthday and told us it was a secret when we asked her casually on monday during sam's celebration. Anyway, on wednesday, we had no more surprised. It's pretty hard to have another surprise in such short notice I think. So, Minh wanted to eat best buffet, so we fulfilled her wishes. Best buffet, is an asian buffet place that serves crab, lobster, oysters, mussels, sushi, sashimi, prawns, lala and other chinese food. We really stuffed ourselves.

So that's 2 birthdays where we pampered ourselves. we also planned to go to cheesecake factory and treat ourselves for thanksgiving but I guess some plans have to be changed now that I am going to Seattle for thanksgiving!!! Yes, happy thing #3 is the decision to visit seattle and vancouver and go skiing.

Still, we can still go to cheesecake factory and tgif another time while we're here. =) And the list should go on... somebody give me suggestions!

so.... Liyan: Thanks! I want fondue set!! my sister will be even happier than me.. haha.. what can I get you from the US??

Xin 'en: Hey girl! and the decision was made just like that! =) I guess I'm going to join you in seattle. =) We're going to have so much fun!
