hello world! am feeling rather happy now because... I received 2 presents today even though its past my birthday. Yipppe! I like celebrate for very long.. Anyway, I think this year's birthday is one of my most happiest ones yet again! And yes, so don't care. . I deserve it! I get to celebrate longer..

This year's birthday is the best, especially these past years simply because everyone is physically around!

Last year, I was in Sweden, so despite my friends in sweden celebrating with me, it wasn't all same.

And for years after JC, I'm always missing people, because the whooole world is like overseas studying lah.. Yes, liyan, huimei, sherlyn, yuanyiu, melissa, qihui, una, monkey, wanlin plus plus plus are all, or have been the culprits!! for making me sad when you good pals are not around. Really feel so lucky to have most of you back home with me again! how can you guys bear to leave me? thank you all. =)

thanks Eggg family aka yi lao ba, yi lao ma, monkey and little beee for taking care of me all time. so that I grew up big and strong =) I miss all eggies at home. =(

MY actual Birthday, with Ek Family and Food Once again!

7th feb...

Seriously am not a natural writer. Am more interested in posting photos then in long written entries. I think my blog is basically an online photo album, only I spend extra effort uploading photos onto flickr and then copying the link here. tsktsk.. failed engineer. 0% efficieny. Should just direct people to flickr for updates next time round hor..

today, I was a good girl and went for class as usual. At 2, I met Big S, kl and yl and for macs lunch before going down to the KR bazaar at science.

Dinner was with fellow Ekers at Margharita (is dat right?). My no. 1 place for my birthday celebrations. Ok, there's a major reason why I am my size. I love food too much. And that is a blessing. Check out food! Missing food pictures will go up when I steal them from monkey.

Monkey and me. photo colour is not clear, but that's her in a yellow shirt with a yellow drink and me in a pink shirt with a pink drink. I can hear the sheesh-es (qihui maybe?) and wadsss... (jieling? ^0^) already.

After dinner, the bad daughter and sister, but true kr-ian went back to hall to catch the 2nd half of guys hb finals, which we unfortunately lost, again... have lost 3 finals in 4 days to respectively th, eh then rh. not a good feeling. ..

But!!! am also very happy, cos gab dropped by at the courts, causing otherwise lounging in hall, not watching match, chris, shengwei and edwin to appear there as well. We then proceeded to holland v for some dessert and catch-ups! yes... Very bad for the body, very very bad...

Chris says I laughed very weirdly. You will laugh too if u had 4 guys singing birthday song for you. weird totally, but such things only happen on your birthday and you enjoy it while u can. thanks gab!

a finals and a birthday

6th feb - a day of lows and then highs.

We lost the finals. Finally after 4 years, I feel no fear when I'm done in a match. Finally, I dare to qie the person again and again. The person grabs me from behind, the whistle blows, I take a shot, the ball goes in, but its not counted and the person is sent out for 2 minutes. How many times does this happen? 3?? arghh!!! Don't blow leh.. just let me drag this person along with me and give me a chance to score. I don't want 2 minutes, I want a goal. And even after 3 2-minutes, with one man down, we didn't make full use of it. Lack of urgency in us? Maybe... I replay the moment in my head many times. I should have just qied her one last time, but I felt that I was holding the ball too much and felt that passing it on was the right thing to do, so that others could try their last desperate attempt at some stunt to get the ball into the goal. Especially since I only got 2 minutes and not goals.. But then maybe if I kept trying, I'd have actually gotten my goal, but then again, now I'll never know. Hate it, just when I felt that I have made the biggest progress in handball in all my years, I have no more chance. But then again, I dunno what came over me today too.

After we came back to hall, I had supper with liyan, jieling, shanice, shengwei, shaopeng, jinxian and edwin. Seemed like ages since I've actually had supper with so many people. Not long after supper, C-blkers gathered on my floor to sing song and cut cake with me. Then I kena sa-bohed.. What's new? How many girls in C blk do the guys really dare to sa-boh?

After a visit from shaopeng, yiling comes along, claiming to have forgotten her matric card and needs help getting into her blk, I oblige and walk with her to the lift landing, only to be stunned for a full second when I find 4 suspicious characters hiding at the stairway, armed with buckets of water. I think my scream echoed thru e blk, but I managed to leap to the short wing, a split second before the water splattered on to the life landing. Tsk tsk... you guys are so shi bai ah... kekeke.. but to amuse my "thoughtful" friends, I returned to the lift landing so that they cld feel some satisfaction by getting me a little wet. I was pretty amused and tramautised over the whole thing. sorry, but little black dress has too little cloth in the front, at the back and at the bottom. =) But qihui actually went shopping for my present! and tried on a little black dress!! hahaha... Makes me very happy already, but you still owe me a present!
