Koh Samui 07 Day 2

The second trip was spent some tourist sites in Koh Samui and the Chaweng Beach.

Big Buddha

After Big Buddha, we went to walk at Chaweng beach. The sand on Chaweng Beach felt a lot finer than the sand on the beach directly behind our resort and had a lot more people. We signed up for a day tour the next day at 65 dollars a person. It was going to be a day trip to National Marine Park Island, Angthong for snorkeling and kayaking. It was much cheaper than the offer given by the stall at the beach behind the resort. The guy told us 5000 baht ($700) to book the private boat to National Marine Park. Then have to pay extra for snorkeling equipment and kayaking. We were all quite amazed by the price then. Thought we'd have nothing to do already on this ridiculously expensive island. Luckily we visited Chaweng Beach.

Hin Ta - Hin Ya, famous rocks aka Grandfather-grandmother rocks.

After the rocks, we went to visit some waterfall, but I don't know the name of this waterfall. There were quite a few locals and tourist swimming in the water, but it looks too cold for me. Didn't bring swim wear along anyway.

Late lunch at this restaurant, Sabeinglae, recommended by the chauffeur. Fried Fish is superb.
